Free online renewable energy course to launch

An online renewable energy course created by Grenoble Ecole de Management and backed by several large players in the sector has launched.

The course is entitled “New Energy Technologies: Energy Transition and Sustainable Development” and will run from May 29. It is being backed by business school Grenoble, with support coming from the likes of GE Renewable Energy, Think Smart Grids and Air Liquide, among others.

The course aims to help students “analyse and evaluate the impact of new technologies in the energy sector” as well as “better understand key issues in the renewable energy sector”.

Each week, talks will be  on areas such as energy efficiency, solar energy, hydroelectricity, biofuels and smart grids.
